Professional Pathway

3-6-Month Internships
Students who are in the early stages of their degree programs are eligible (and sometimes required) to pursue paid or unpaid internships. Whether your internship is paid or unpaid, it will be a valuable learning experience!
You’re eligible for an internship starting with your 2nd semester of enrollment.
Interns gain real-world skills by working 20-30 hours per week.
Some internships earn credit in your major.

Senior Students: Work & Study

Students within their last year of study can find paid work in their fields with help from Texas Tech-CR’s Career Services office. The Work & Study program helps you create time for a paying job and sets you up for success on graduation.

You qualify for Work & Study in the following conditions:
You are authorized to work in Costa Rica.
You have a year (or less) before graduating, and your GPA reaches an expected standard.
You are eager to start on the path to a post-graduation job in your field!
