Dr. Gregory Saxton is a Senior Lecturer in Political Science at Texas Tech University. His research is in comparative politics and focuses on Latin America, public opinion, and inequality. Saxton earned his Ph.D. in political science at the University of Kentucky, where he also was an instructor. His master’s and bachelor’s degrees are from the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Saxton has been at Texas Tech since 2019, where he teaches classes on comparative politics, political analysis, and Texas politics.
